Its production is a costly and delicate process, requiring an immense amount of material to obtain a few drops of pure perfume.
“To obtain one gram of jasmine absolute, you need approximately 700 grams of fresh flowers. In the case of tuberose, several kilos of petals are needed to obtain just one gram of absolute.”
Each drop represents hours of manual harvesting, entire nights of flowering, and an extraction method that respects the structure of the flower.
What are “heart” flower absolutes?
Among our most exclusive products are the absolute heart: an ultra-refined version obtained through a double process.
“The absolute heart is a molecular distillate of the same absolute, so it requires two distillation processes.”
This means that after obtaining the traditional absolute through solvents, it undergoes an additional molecular distillation that eliminates impurities and heavy molecules, resulting in a purer, brighter aroma that is closer to the true smell of the flower in its natural state.
“The result is wonderful: an olfactory profile reminiscent of the flowers themselves, with a fleshy intensity and an ethereal, crystalline aroma.”
The cost of this process is high, but the result is absolute premium quality, intended for signature perfumes and high-end olfactory compositions.
