Botanical Name: Polianthes Tuberosa
Extraction method: Using organic solvents.
Country of origin: Concrete is produced in India and then processed in France to extract the absolute.
To produce one gram of tuberose absolute, between 2 and 3 kilograms of fresh flowers are needed.
At the opening, fresh green and slightly herbaceous notes can be perceived, which quickly evolve towards the white floral heart, very sweet, creamy with a milky appearance.
It has a subtle indolic nuance, which provides an animal and slightly "dirty" complexity.
I also perceive fruity facets, reminiscent of ripe peach or even coconut, adding sweetness and roundness.
Sometimes (depending on the dilution) I can detect a slight camphoraceous or mentholated touch.
As it evolves, warm balsamic notes and a honey-like sweetness emerge.
Tuberose absolute is characterized by its high intensity and projection. Its aroma is narcotic and intoxicating, capable of filling a room with its opulent presence.
