Dragón Blood in Gurjum Balsam

Another crazy experiment in the glass Atelier.
This time we’re going to capture the smoke produced by gently heating dragon’s blood resin under a candle.

When the resin begins to release smoke, I switch on the vacuum pump so that all the aromatic smoke produced as the dragon’s blood warms passes through the gurjum balsam.

In a way, you could say this is a destructive distillation captured in gurjum balsam.

The result is a smoky leathery scent,  Ambery and long lasting scent that remember the aroma of the ancients temples
