The Workshop
I especially enjoy the extraction process. Working slowly, at home, observing how a material releases its scent without forcing it. For me, perfumery is as much knowledge as intuition, as much method as enjoyment.
The name The Glass Atelier comes from the importance I give to glass.
In the perfume industry, distillation is usually done in copper or stainless steel, and glass is reserved for refining oils or isolating compounds.
In my workshop, the opposite happens.
Here, there is only glass. A noble material that doesn't transfer aroma, doesn't interfere, and leaves no trace. Working exclusively with glass allows me to obtain extracts that contain no added odor beyond that of the raw material itself.
Therefore, each ingredient that comes out of this workshop expresses only what it is, without interpretation or correction.
